Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia held its annual Share a Night, Light a Light event Dec. 7. Ronald McDonald House supports families of seriously ill children, providing temporary housing so they can stay near the hospitals treating their children. Families are asked to contribute only $15 per night, and no one is ever turned away because of an inability to pay. More than 200 attended the Philadelphia chapter's annual open house and tree-lighting event, at which guests visited with Ronald McDonald while waiting for the lights to be turned on.
