Professional poker player Beth Shak went on Bravo's "Millionaire Matchmaker" last year, but was less than thrilled with the three men host Patti Stanger fixed her up with.

Shak thinks she was deliberately set up with inappropriate guys."Do you think they want to give you somebody that you are going to fall head over heels in love with? How boring."

But Shak took matters into her own hands. She started checking out online dating sites.

Why was this gorgeous and rich divorcée trolling the Internet for dates?

"I didn't want [a future partner] to know who I was . . . if I go to a red carpet event, then they know who I am. Or if I'm in a poker tournament, they know who I am. I wanted to just meet somebody under the premise of them not knowing anything about me." The Internet provided her with that anonymity.

For the past several months she's been dating a police officer she met online.

"He's a cop and he's in the Navy reserves. He's a regular guy. And he knew nothing about me. And he doesn't know anything about poker, shoes, anything and he's like 'fine.' He's one of the most secure men I've ever met in my life."

" I'm finally dating a man who is just, like, 'OK. Whatever you want, Beth.' He kind of ignores it. Some people used to be so intimidated by it. They would look in my closet and say, 'Really? This is what's in your closet?' And I'd think to myself, 'I'm not asking you to buy me shoes, so why are you commenting on what's in my closet?' Right? It's crazy."
