Public Question 2
The Board of Education of the Township of Mount Holly, in the County of Burlington, New Jersey ("School District"), is authorized to: (a) undertake for lawful school purposes, a capital improvement program consisting of: (i) the completion of various renovations and improvements at the F.W. Holbein Middle School, John Brainerd School and Gertrude C. Folwell School, including the replacement and/or upgrading of the electrical, plumbing, communications, fire, safety, utility and HVAC systems, and the replacement, improvement and/or repair of the roofs, windows, doors, walls, ceilings and restrooms, together with the completion of exterior work and other site improvements at each facility; and (ii) the completion of such other work and improvements as may be necessary or desirable to make such renovations and improvements compatible with the existing facilities and to bring said facilities into compliance with various code and building requirements; (b) acquire furniture, fixtures and equipment for said renovations and improvements; (c) expend for all the foregoing an amount not to exceed $34,029,906, which expenditure shall be funded in part with grants from the State of New Jersey in the amount of $20,287,676 (representing approximately 59.6% of the school facilities projects final eligible cost of $34,029,906, as determined by the Commissioner of Education); (d) issue bonds of the School District for said school facilities projects in an amount not to exceed $13,742,230, representing the School District's local share of said school facilities projects; and (e) to transfer bond proceeds between said school facilities projects. These school facilities projects include $0 for school facility construction elements in addition to the facility efficiency standards developed by the Commissioner of Education or that are not otherwise eligible for State support pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:7G-5(g)
