A Burlington County grand jury has indicted a Willingboro man on murder and weapons charges in a stabbing last summer during a basketball court scuffle, the Prosecutor's Office said yesterday.

Darnell W. Williams, 20, is accused of stabbing 19-year-old Julian Corry Jr. in a leg July 17 outside Garfield East Elementary School on Evergreen Drive. Corry died a few hours later at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, authorities said.

Williams was indicted Tuesday on charges of first-degree murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was held in Burlington County Jail after failing to post $250,000 bail.
