Center City lawyer to head Pa. Bar Association
Philadelphia lawyer Clifford E. Haines will become president-elect of the Pennsylvania Bar Association at the conclusion of the group's annual meeting June 6 in Hershey, according to the bar. The move paves the way for Haines to become president of the association next year.

Haines is chairman of the Center City law firm of Haines & Associates and was appointed by Gov. Rendell in the fall to the regional Port Authority. He is a former chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association. - Emilie Lounsberry
