HARRISBURG - A key labor negotiator for Gov. Rendell has become his state secretary for the Office of Administration, the governor said yesterday. Naomi Wyatt, 34, who has worked for Rendell since 2006, on Monday replaced Joe Martz, who had held the post for two years.

In February, Wyatt became the Office of Administration's deputy secretary for human resources and management after she headed Rendell's Office of Management and Productivity. Before that, Wyatt was a lawyer at firms in San Francisco and Philadelphia, Rendell said in a statement.

Wyatt earned a bachelor's degree in English from Yale University in 1995 and a law degree from the University of Colorado in 2000. She is the fourth person to oversee the office during Rendell's term. The office has an $8.4 million budget and manages information technology, labor relations, and human resources for state government. - AP
