Brahim Small, 21, of West Philadelphia, was shot about noon Wednesday and pronounced dead at 9:48 p.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, said homicide Sgt. Bob Wilkins.
Wilkins said Small was shot in the head and back and another man, who was not identified, was shot in one leg during a confrontation about money in the 800 block of North Fallon Street.
The gunman fled. Wilkins said investigators were looking for a person of interest. - Barbara Boyer
