N.E. Phila. man wanted in bank robbery

A Northeast Philadelphia man is being sought by the FBI for the Tuesday afternoon holdup of a bank branch in the city's Mayfair section.

Joseph Baer, 39, is charged with robbing the PNC Bank at 6855 Frankford Avenue. Baer, who was wearing a No. 5 Donovan McNabb Eagle's jersey during the heist, told a teller he had a weapon and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, said FBI spokesman J.J. Klaver.

Baer - who is 5-foot-10, 150 pounds and clean shaven - has no fixed address but is known to frequent casinos. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
