Police and the FBI are seeking the public's help to identify and locate a man who robbed a Northeast Philadelphia branch of the Police and Fire Federal Credit Union on Monday.
Police and the FBI are seeking the public's help to identify and locate a man who robbed a Northeast Philadelphia branch of the Police and Fire Federal Credit Union on Monday.
A white man in his late 20s handed a threatening note to a teller at 12:43 p.m. at the credit union, 7500 Castor Ave., authorities said. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money, running west on Shelmire Avenue.
The robber was wearing cream-colored gloves with red tips. He has a light-colored mustache and goatee, is about 5-foot-10 with medium build, and was wearing a black knit hat with an unknown gray logo. Authorities asked anyone with information to call the FBI at 215-418-4000. There may be a reward, the FBI said. - Robert Moran
