A Bryn Mawr man has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography, the Delaware County District Attorney's Office announced Friday.

Andrew J. Milligan III, 35, was charged with 29 counts of possession of child pornography, corruption of minors, and related offenses after an investigation by the county's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force's Detectives Lisa Carroll and Edmond Pisani.

Milligan, who works for a European bank, is accused of creating an online identity of a teenage girl named Stacy Markson and using it get teen girls to send naked photographs of themselves via the Internet, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday.

A search warrant was served at his home in December, and his computer was taken. A forensic report dated Tuesday attested to the pornographic images found.

According to the criminal complaint, Milligan, who was married, admitted to an investigator to having used the name Stacy Markson to get girls to send him pictures, and to having pornography on his computer. He also said that he had been looking at child pornography for years, but that he never met anyone he spoke to online, the complaint said.

Milligan was arraigned before Judge David H. Lang and freed after posting 10 percent of $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for May 9 in Newtown Square.
