Man, 27, shot to death in South Phila.
A 27-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday night in the backyard of his grandmother's house in South Philadelphia, police said.
A 27-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday night in the backyard of his grandmother's house in South Philadelphia, police said.
Police were called at 9:58 p.m. to the 2600 block of Wolf Street, where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the face, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
The victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead at 10:12 p.m. Small said witnesses reported that the victim was talking to several males behind the house when they heard two gunshots. No arrests were reported. - Robert Moran
