Gov. Corbett to visit Temple Sinai in Dresher on Tuesday night

A community-wide, Interfaith event featuring Gov. Tom Corbett in a show of solidarity with the State of Israel is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at Temple Sinai, 1401 N. Limekiln Pike, Dresher, Pa.

A community-wide, Interfaith event featuring Gov. Tom Corbett in a show of solidarity with the State of Israel is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at Temple Sinai, 1401 N. Limekiln Pike, Dresher, Pa.

Corbett is expected to be joined by Montgomery County Commissioner Josh Shapiro, Pennsylvania State Senator Anthony Hardy Williams, Consul General of Israel to the Mid-Atlantic Region Yaron Sideman, Friends of Israel Dr. Jim Showers, Reverend William Sutter, and Clergy from True United Church, Temple Sinai, and Beth Tikvah B'nai Jeshurun.

This event is designed to educate and inform about the U.S.-Israel relationship.

In addition to the speakers, a multi-faith celebration with an Interfaith Choir and the Temple Sinai Junior choir, led by Cantor Stephen Freedman, will perform. A short video from Jerusalem Online University will be shown.

The event is free and open to the public. Gov. Corbett is expected to speak at 8:15.
