CHELTENHAM Cheltenham Police and the FBI are asking for help in identifying a woman suspected in the Sunday robbery of a Wyncote bank.

Police said the robbery occurred at 2:01 p.m., at the Citizens Bank in the Cedarbrook Mall, at 1000 S. Easton Rd. Officers went to the bank after receiving a report of a robbery that was in progress.

"The suspect entered the bank and proceeded to the teller where she said, 'This is a robbery. Give me a band of $20s. No dye pack. Give me only what I ask for,' " police said Monday.

No weapon was seen, and the suspect fled with an unknown amount of money.

She is described as a black female, 35-45 years old, 5-foot-9 and weighing 185 pounds. She wore a gray fabric hat with baseball style brim and black band, black plastic frame glasses, dark blue shirt, dark jacket with zip-down shawl-type hood, and red gloves.

Cheltenham Police urge anyone with information to call them at 215-885-1600 ext. 499, or on the anonymous tip line at 215-885-1600 ext. 777.
