MEDIA Beware the pothole patrols.

Starting Tuesday, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation crews will be out for pothole repair in two locations in Delaware County.

Crews will work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on I-95 in both directions from the Philadelphia city line to the Delaware state line.

Along both directions of the Blue Route, crews will work between U.S. Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and U.S. Route 1 (the Media Bypass) between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Travel will be restricted while crews work on the deteriorating roads, so motorists are advised to expect intermittent lane closures and delays in both work zones.

The work is dependent upon good weather. Drivers can check www.511PA.com, www.dot.state.pa.us/district6, or call 610-205-6700 for more information. - Mari A. Schaefer
