Police: 1 killed, 1 wounded in Overbrook

A double shooting left one person dead and a second wounded Tuesday night in the city's Overbrook section, police said.

Police said a person was shot dead inside a property in the 5700 block of Wyndale Avenue around 10:15 p.m. The second victim was found outside and transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Police broadcast a preliminary description of possible suspects as men in masks who fled the scene in a white utility truck with a ladder on it. - Robert Moran
