Rte. 202 ramp to close

EAST WHITELAND A Route 202 ramp in East Whiteland Township will be closed for the next two months as part of construction to improve the road, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said in a news release.

The closure will impact the off-ramp to Route 29 South through July 14. A detour will take motorists off at the Route 29 North exit, and then left at Swedesford Road to Route 29, the release said.

The closure is part of a $105.4 million project to expand four miles of Route 202 to six lanes from near the Route 401 interchange to the Route 252 interchange.

More information on the expansion is available at www.us202-300.com.
