Radnor officer fatally shoots self outside police station

A Radnor Township police officer shot and killed himself in the police department's parking lot Tuesday evening, authorities said.
Police Superintendent William Colarulo said the 6:30 p.m. shooting appeared to be a suicide.
The officer was indentified Wednesday morning as Officer Robert "John" Miller, 34, a 9-year veteran of the force.
"Please keep Officer Miller and his family in your thoughts and prayers," the department said in a statement, adding funeral arrangements are pending.
Haverford Township police along with other neighboring departments assisted Radnor with police coverage Tuesday night.
