A Drexel University student was stabbed early Wednesday during a dispute with five other students on the school's main campus in University City, officials said.

Police were questioning two men in the 3:42 a.m. attack outside Myers Hall, a residential building on the 3300 block of Race Street, officials said.

The student, who was stabbed in the back, was treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and released, Drexel said in a statement.

The nature of the dispute is not yet known.

Drexel police have turned over the investigation to Philadelphia police's Southwest Detectives.
