Two teens shot in Mill Creek

Two teenage boys, ages 14 and 15, suffered minor gunshot wounds during an altercation Wednesday evening in the Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia, police said.

Two teenage boys, ages 14 and 15, suffered minor gunshot wounds during an altercation Wednesday evening in the Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia, police said.

The 15-year-old was shot in the arm and the 14-year-old suffered a graze wound around 6 p.m. in the 4900 block of Fairmount Avenue, police said. Both were hospitalized in stable condition.

Lt. John Walker of Southwest Detectives said two groups were involved in an argument and a male from one group left and returned with a gun. The gunman remained at large Wednesday night. - Robert Moran
