Elderly couple victims of Bustleton home invasion

Police are looking for two men who robbed an elderly Bustleton couple in a Friday morning home invasion. Philadelphia police said the two male suspects forced a rear window open and entered the couple's home on the 2000 block of Murray Street through the kitchen.

Philadelphia police said the two male suspects forced a rear window open and entered the couple's home on the 2000 block of Murray Street through the kitchen.

A 77-year-old man and his 75-year-old wife were inside at the time of the of 6:30 a.m. incident, and the assailants sprayed the woman with mace or pepper spray, police said.

Both victims were shaken up but otherwise unharmed.

The two assailants fled after taking various items from the house, police said.

They were described only as white men in their early 20s and were wearing dark masks.
