A 14-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man were wounded in a double shooting Thursday afternoon in North Philadelphia, police said.

A 14-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man were wounded in a double shooting Thursday afternoon in North Philadelphia, police said.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m. at 25th and Jefferson Streets, the younger teen was shot in the lower left leg, police said. Police took him to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The 19-year-old was shot in the left arm, left shoulder, and twice in the right thigh, police said. Medics took him to Hahnemann, where he was listed in critical condition. Two guns were recovered, but no arrests were reported. - Robert Moran
