Body found at river's edge near Camden

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was pulled from the edge of the Delaware River near Camden Sunday afternoon.

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was pulled from the edge of the Delaware River near Camden Sunday afternoon.

Camden County Police received a 911 call around 2:53 p.m. after the body was discovered near 28th Street and Adams Avenue by a juvenile playing in the area, authorities said.

The body, not yet identified, appears to be a Hispanic male in his 40s, police said. The cause and manner of death are not known. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
