Philadelphia police on Friday released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in last weekend's sexual assault and armed robbery in Port Richmond.
Philadelphia police on Friday released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in last weekend's sexual assault and armed robbery in Port Richmond.
The attack happened Sunday, when a man encountered two women and their male companion near the 2400 block of North Beach Street and forced them at gunpoint into a wooded area, police said. He robbed the victims and sexually assaulted one woman.
Afterward, the man bound the victims with their own clothing and then fled on foot, walking west toward Richmond Street.
Their attacker was described as a stocky white man in his early 30s, about 5-feet-9-inches and about 230 pounds. He has light brown hair and a light mustache and beard. He wore a white Phillies cap with a red logo, a white tank top, and blue-jean shorts.
