The state of Pennsylvania has charged a Bucks County mechanic with illegally dumping large containers of used oil, including one that was damaged and leaking into the ground.
David Gawronski, 26, who owns Gawronski Automotive in Perkasie, abandoned five 5-gallon containers along East Creamery Road, the Attorney General's Office said. Investigators tracked the waste back to Gawronski's shop because an oil-stained invoice for his business was still attached to one of the containers.
Gawronski, who lives in Sellersville, faces three counts of unlawful conduct, a third-degree misdemeanor. A preliminary hearing is scheduled to review his case on Oct. 16.
