Lottery players in Philadelphia and Atlantic City won big prizes in recent drawings.
A ticket sold in the city's Overbrook Park section won $225,000 in the Nov. 25 Cash 5 drawing, Pennsylvania Lottery officials said.
The lucky ticket, which was sold at the Dollar Plus located at 7578 Haverford Ave., matched all five numbers drawn: 6, 8, 13, 17 and 27.
The retailer gets a $500 bonus and the winner has one year from the drawing date to the claim the jackpot.
Meanwhile, the New Jersey Lottery said a ticket sold in the state won $1 million in Friday's Mega Millions game.
That ticket matched all five white balls drawn (16, 20, 39, 56 and 59), but missed the Mega Ball of 12.
The $1 million winner was purchased at the 99 Cents Market at 1410 Atlantic Ave., officials said.
No one won the $31 million top prize Friday, so the jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing rolls over to $39 million for the annuity, or $23 million for the cash option.
