Montgomery County Community College officials told students at the West Campus in Pottstown to evacuate at about noon Thursday.

The school said a bomb threat had been received and day classes were canceled.

The college's other campus in Blue Bell was not affected.

The threat was the second threat reported at a Philadelphia-area community college Thursday.

Earlier, bomb-sniffing dogs were called to the library and Gateway Center at Bucks County Community College's Newtown campus.

No explosives were found and the buildings reopened by early afternoon.
