A Lehigh County judge has set a March trial date for former professional wrestling star Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, who's charged in the death of his 23-year-old mistress more than three decades ago.

Common Pleas Court Judge Kelly Banach on Tuesday scheduled Snuka's trial to begin March 22. Snuka, 72, lives in Camden County.

Snuka's girlfriend, Nancy Argentino of New York, was found dead in May 1983 after authorities were called to their hotel room near Allentown. Snuka has pleaded not guilty to charges of third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter.

His lawyer has called Argentino's death an "unfortunate accident." - AP
