West Philadelphia shooting leaves one man in critical
A 38-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot Thursday night in West Philadelphia, police said. Shortly before 8:45 p.m. in the 700 block of North 43d Street, the victim was shot once in the right side of his neck. He was transported by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
