Marking the one-year anniversary of the fatal police shooting of Brandon Tate-Brown, scores of protesters marched through Center City on Tuesday evening, snarling traffic and surprising shoppers and diners by entering businesses.

Tate-Brown, 26, was fatally shot by police during a traffic stop that turned into a violent struggle in Mayfair on Dec. 15, 2014.

The protesters marched around City Hall, then along Broad Street and Walnut Street. They entered the Apple Store on Walnut and the Devon Seafood Grill on Rittenhouse Square. They chanted slogans and yelled obscenities at police, but no arrests were reported. - Robert Moran
