4-H summer interns are sought

DOYLESTOWN The Bucks County 4-H Club is offering a paid summer internship with its Penn State Extension. The extension is a partnership between the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the country's land-grant universities that operates "innovative, research-based knowledge and vital educational programs," according to Penn State.

DOYLESTOWN The Bucks County 4-H Club is offering a paid summer internship with its Penn State Extension. The extension is a partnership between the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the country's land-grant universities that operates "innovative, research-based knowledge and vital educational programs," according to Penn State.

Qualifications for the internship include completion of at least two years as a full-time college student and current enrollment as a full-time college student.

Applicants should enjoy working with youths and adults, be self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision, and be a "team player," according to the 4-H Club.

They also must have a car and a valid driver's license. Computer skills are required, and the club prefers students with experience in working with youth and/or a background in education and youth development. All majors are to be considered.
