Airport train service briefly suspended

Service on SEPTA's Regional Rail Airport Line was briefly suspended Sunday afternoon. The train line was shut down around 4 p.m. because of power issues affecting signals, and passengers were shuttled by bus instead, an agency spokeswoman said. An estimated 84,000 people were expected to fly in and out of the airport on Sunday, she said, normal for a busy Sunday.

A SEPTA Twitter account said at 4:23 p.m. that service had resumed, but also warned of residual delays of up to 15 minutes.
