West Philly shooting leaves man critically wounded

An unidentified man was in critical condition after being shot Tuesday evening in the Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia, police said.

The man, described as in his 40s, was shot multiple times in the body shortly before 6:30 p.m. in the area of 51st and Brown Streets. He was transported by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Police reported no arrests.
