Man sought in W. Philadelphia shooting death

Police are looking for a man suspected of fatally shooting another man in West Philadelphia over the weekend.

Authorities say Dante Green, 22, shot a 21-year-old man in the head Sunday on the 6500 block of Greenway Avenue in Mount Moriah.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released because his relatives haven't been notified, was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:50 a.m. Sunday.

Police said the motive for the killing remains unknown.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Green, of the 1000 block of Van Kirk Street, and officials are asking for help finding him.

As with all homicides in the city, there is a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
