Thief targets daycare centers
Police are hunting for the heartless thief who broke into two Olney daycare centers to steal money. The first break-in happened between 11 and 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 25, when a man removed an air conditioner from a window at Around the Clock Daycare, 425 West Tabor Road, to climb inside, police said. He ransacked the place but took nothing.

The first break-in happened between 11 and 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 25, when a man removed an air conditioner from a window at Around the Clock Daycare, 425 West Tabor Road, to climb inside, police said. He ransacked the place but took nothing.
About the same time the next night, the man forced open a second-floor window to get into Little Explorers Day Care, 5417 N. 5th St., where he pried open a cash drawer inside an office to steal an undetermined amount of money, police said.
The suspect is described as black, 30 to 40 years old, with a thin mustache. He was wearing a puffy hooded jacket, a knitted ski cap and black boots.
