Police are searching for a woman with a pink bag who threw coffee and punches at another woman outside a Center City Starbucks earlier this week.
About 9:15 a.m. Monday, the two women were inside the Starbucks, at 1600 Arch St., when they got into a "physical altercation," during which the woman with the pink bag threw a coffee stirrer at the other woman, police said Wednesday.
The cause of the altercation was not spelled out.
Then, outside on the sidewalk, the women are seen in a surveillance video arguing with each other. The woman with the pink bag throws her coffee into the face of the other woman, 54, then punched her in her face and body, police said.
The puncher then grabbed the victim's hair, pulling her to the ground where she continued slamming her until a passerby separated them, police said.
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the woman with the pink bag. She is described as black, about mid-40s in age, 5-foot-10 and 130 pounds. She was also wearing pink pants.
