Man, 28, gunned down on the streets of North Philly

A 28-year-old man was fatally wounded in a street shooting Monday afternoon in North Philadelphia, police said. The victim was shot in the chest and groin just after 4:10 p.m. in the 1900 block of North 25th Street. He was taken by Philadelphia Housing Authority police to Temple University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:38 p.m.

Police reported no arrests.
