A 34-year-old female passenger and a driver were critically injured Saturday after the vehicle they were in hit a pole on Frankford Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, police said.
A 34-year-old female passenger and a driver were critically injured Saturday after the vehicle they were in hit a pole on Frankford Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, police said.
The vehicle was traveling north on the 8800 block of Frankford Avenue at about 11 a.m. when the driver crossed lanes and hit a pole, police said. The driver, who was suspected of driving under the influence, suffered a serious leg injury, and was in critical but stable condition, police said.
The female passenger was taken to Aria Health-Torresdale Campus in critical condition.
