A fire at a Voorhees Township apartment building Wednesday night has displaced nine families, authorities said.
The blaze started around 11:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Van Buren Road. Police evacuated residents from three floors before firefighters put out the flames. No injuries were reported.
Property managers and the Red Cross were making arrangements for three families to stay at a nearby hotel. Other displaced residents are staying with relatives, police said.
The cause and origin of the fire is still under investigation.
