Two shot in North Philly

A man and 16-year-old boy were wounded in a double shooting Thursday night in North Philadelphia, police said. Just after 8:35 p.m. in the 3200 block of North Sheridan Street, the 31-year-old man was shot in the back by an unknown assailant and the teen was shot in the left hip, police said.

Just after 8:35 p.m. in the 3200 block of North Sheridan Street, the 31-year-old man was shot in the back by an unknown assailant and the teen was shot in the left hip, police said.

Both were taken by private vehicle to Temple University Hospital, where the man was listed in critical but stable condition and the teen was reported in stable condition.
