A 17-year-old boy was in critical condition Monday night after being shot in the head during a robbery in Germantown, police said.
Just before 8:20 p.m., the victim was at Fernhill Park in the 4500 block of Morris Street when he was robbed at gunpoint, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
The assailant took the teen's wallet and mobile phone, then shot him in the head and hip. The victim ran about a half block before collapsing in the 300 block of Apsley Street. Police took him to Temple University Hospital.
