Man, 41, found dead in Fairhill

A 41-year-old man was found dead with a "puncture wound" to the head in the Fairhill section of North Philadelphia on Saturday morning, police said.

The man, whose name has not been released, was found unresponsive outside on the 100 block of West Gurney Street at 6:50 a.m., and was pronounced dead seven minutes later by medics at the scene.

Police are investigating his death, which at this point has been labeled "suspicious." No other information was immediately available.
