Atlantic City authorities have arrested two men who they say shot and wounded a 25-year-old man Sunday morning at the valet area of the Tropicana Casino and Resort.

In a statement Sunday, Atlantic City police said that 23-year-old Eugene Storm, of Pennsylvania, and 30-year-old George Walker, of New York, had been charged in the shooting of New York man Xavier Smith.

According to authorities, police found Smith suffering from a gunshot wound at the Tropicana's valet tower around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. He was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

A motive for the shooting was not disclosed.

Officials say they identified Storm and Walker using surveillance video and later arrested them.
