Liberty Tower Apts. evacuated; 11th-floor blaze under control
Firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze at a highrise apartment building Tuesday evening in the city's Overbrook section, officials said. Shortly after 5:20 p.m., a fire was reported on the 11th floor at the Liberty Tower Apartments in the 1100 block of North 63rd Street. The fire was declared under control just before 6:15 p.m. There were no reports of injuries.
