A corporal at the King of Prussia station said a crash at 3:21 p.m. left at least one vehicle off the highway's right shoulder at mile marker 357 in Bristol, but he could not confirm a preliminary report that at least one driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
An on-scene emergency responder could be heard on dispatch radio saying one "driver was ejected" from a vehicle.
