Firebombing probed in Germantown blaze
Crews are investigating an overnight fire at a Germantown home as a possible firebombing.
The Philadelphia Fire Department said firefighters were called the residence on the unit block of East Coulter Street at 3:45 a.m.
The blaze was placed under control within 10 minutes, fire officials said.
No one inside the home was injured; all escaped the blaze.
The fire department said the incident was being probed as a possible firebombing but no cause had been determined as of early this morning. The Fire Marshal's Office was called to the scene to investigate.
The Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania said it was helping a family of eight people affected by the fire.
