A stabbing in the Olney section of North Philadelphia left a 38-year-old man seriously injured Sunday morning.

A stabbing in the Olney section of North Philadelphia left a 38-year-old man seriously injured Sunday morning.

The victim was stabbed in his upper right arm shortly before 7 a.m. along the 200 block of West Laveer Street, according to preliminary police information. A private vehicle rushed him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was placed in critical condition.

Police described the suspect as a "known doer" but reported no arrest. Anyone with information was asked to contact Philadelphia police.
