Man dies after being ejected from vehicle in Cheltenham crash

A Philadelphia man died after he was ejected from his vehicle in an overnight crash in Montgomery County.

Cheltenham Township police said the 26-year-old lost control of his vehicle while driving south on Front Street near Hilldale Road.

The man, whose name was not released because family members were still being notified, crashed into several parked cars and was ejected from his vehicle, police said.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

No one else was in the vehicle.

Police said the circumstances of the crash, which happened at about 1:20 a.m., remain under investigation. Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call police at 215-885-1600, ext. 476.
