A 35-year-old man died after he was shot multiple times in North Philadelphia early Sunday.

A 35-year-old man died after he was shot multiple times in North Philadelphia early Sunday.

Officers about 4:40 a.m. responded to a report of a person with a gun along the 1300 block of West York Street, according to preliminary information from Philadelphia police.

They found the victim lying in the street near his vehicle, a 2015 Ford Mustang. The driver's side door was open and the keys were in the ignition, police said.

Officers rushed the man to Temple University Hospital, where he died shortly before 5 a.m. His identity was not immediately released.

There wasn't word on a suspect or motive, and police reported no arrest. Anyone with information was asked to contact Philadelphia police.
