Man robbed of $7K in Northeast Philly stickup
Two armed men made away with $7,000 during a gunpoint robbery on Large Street near St. Vincent Street in the Castor section of Northeast Philadelphia.
Two armed men made away with $7,000 during a gunpoint robbery Wednesday morning in the Castor section of Northeast Philadelphia.
The suspects approached a man on the 7100 block of Large Street, near St. Vincent Street, around 5 a.m. and demanded money, according to investigators.
Police said they fled on foot with the cash. They are described only as two black men wearing gray hoodies.
The victim contacted authorities from a nearby business, police said. His age and identity were not immediately available.
No arrest had yet been reported Wednesday afternoon.
