A 23-year-old man was shot Saturday afternoon in the Hunting Park section of North Philadelphia.

The victim was struck once each in his left buttocks and lower thigh about 3:45 p.m., as he sat in his vehicle near 13th and Butler streets, police said.

He was taken by private vehicle to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in critical condition.

There wasn't word on a suspect or motive Saturday evening. No weapon was recovered, and no arrest was reported.
